Neurotypical Individuals
All sessions are conducted virtually, via Zoom (see Client Services Contract for rates and other details).
I am available to meet in person or virtually with any professionals with whom you may have already established a relationship.
NEURODIVERSITY *
The term Neurodiversity can be broken into two categories as described below:
1) Neurotypical
A descriptor that refers to someone who has the brain functions, behaviors, and processing considered standard or typical
2) Neurodivergent:
A term for people whose brain functions differently, in one or more ways, from those of people considered standard or typical.
* Resnick, A; "What Does It Mean To Be Neurodivergent," (2023), Verywell.
Choose the age group that addresses the types of transition that you or your child might be facing.
Important Note: I am not a clinician and do not perform neuropsychological assessments. I often partner and coordinate efforts with educational therapists, psychologists, learning resource faculty, teachers, parents/guardians, and the students themselves. I would be happy to work with any professional with whom you are already working. I believe in an integrative approach to developing an action plan for success. I maintain a high level of confidentiality with all my clients.
INDIVIDUALS
Young adults - Post-Secondary (Age 18-22)
Exploration Phase – not sure if college is the right path.
If you have completed high school and are exploring alternatives to college, Pritikin Positive Life Coaching can help build confidence, identify goals, and reduce the stress that can come from uncertainty.
Young Adults: Non-Degreed (some college experience)
If you have taken a pause in your college experience, Pritikin Positive Life Coaching can help you explore non-academic options, identify goals, and reduce the stress that can come from uncertainty.
Young Adults: Degreed
If you have completed your college program, Pritikin Positive Life Coaching can help you navigate your next steps for living outside of an academic community and reduce the stress that can come from uncertainty.
Individuals Transitioning to College or Workplace (Age 22-30)
If you have recently completed a degree program in college (undergraduate or graduate) and are about to leave the comfort zones of campus life (or have recently left), you might be approaching a new job and/or considering a new living situation - moving back home or moving into an independent living situation (with or without a roommate) and/or work environment.
I offer social/emotional support in helping you identify goals for thriving in your new living situation.
PARENTS
Middle School to High School (Age 12-14)
If your child is about to transition to High School, this change comes with a mix of emotions – there’s a lot of excitement, but triggers for stress and anxiety can also be present. I have spent more than two decades as a high school teacher teaching all grades and serving as an Advisor to 9th graders. I helped students reach their intellectual potential but also provided support in navigating the “roller-coaster” of their social/emotional life.
I will work with your family to help your child
identify possible stressors,
gain more confidence and
define goals for thriving in high school, both academically and socially/emotionally.
I maintain a high level of confidentiality with all of my clients.
